The book narrates through Annakpok, a little girl who lives in the Arctic, the daily life of Inuit people, known contemptuously as Eskimo (those who eat raw meat). Inuit culture is completely unknown to us. They are a people with wonderful and rich customs, values and traditions. They have a great respect for nature and an appreciation of the world around them.

This book offers us the chance to travel to an unknown world that for sure will awake our interest and will certainly give us much food for thought.
